All members of AFC Board of Trustees and Advisory Board work pro bono. In addition, many volunteers have supported the work of American Friends of Chartres over the years.

Prasadini Bogollagama and Charlotte Lallement-Klaus periodically volunteered with the administrative work. Prasadini also featured in the promotional video for the first fund-raising campaign on Razoo.

George Collinet, renowned radio broadcaster and video film-maker, donated his talents and time for the production of AFC’s promotional video.

Robert A. Maxwell, Sherman Fairchild Associate Professor of Fine Arts at the Institute of Fine Arts of New York University is a member of the Selection Committee for the Servane de Layre-Mathéus Grants.

Elizabeth Pastan, President of Corpus Vitrearum-US and Professor of Art History at Emery University served on the Selection Committee for the David Whitehouse Scholarship. She is a member of the Selection Committee for the Servane de Layre-Mathéus Grants. 

Luis Fernando Hurtado Roa is a website designer. With a BA in information technology, he helped re-create and maintain AFC’s website. He resides in Miami, Florida. Olivia Kiers and Ben Schulz contributed to website enhancements. Elizabeth Dent energized AFC’s Facebook page with interesting vignettes about Chartres. Numerous volunteers have provided support at special events in the US and in France.

Claire-Noëlle Simon managed the organization of an event at the Maison Française on May 16, 2023. For the event itself, two student-volunteers from George Washington University and one young professional from Afghanistan joined the team. Claire-Noëlle has since joined AFC as part-time Project and Administrative Coordinator. 

MJ McGregor and Steve Dahl are key contributors to organize events in Chartres in the context of donors’ trips.

Douglas Lister regularly supports the president on some administrative matters, and Maria Ferrera provides editing services.
